FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ICAEW appoints Deny Poerhadiyanto, CA as
Head of Indonesia
ICAEW (the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) has
appointed Mr Deny Poerhadiyanto, CA as its first Head of Indonesia. This is
part of ICAEW’s commitment to build and strengthen its initiatives and
presence in Indonesia and within the South East Asia region.
A well known member of the finance and accountancy
community, Deny brings with him a wealth of experience in
the local and regional accountancy sector and was the
Director of Communications at The Institute of Indonesia
Chartered Accountants (IAI).
Deny will be responsible for developing ICAEW’s presence
in Indonesia and building a strong relationship with the local
stakeholders. He will continue to strengthen the
relationships between ICAEW and the national professional
accounting bodies such as the Institute of Indonesia
Chartered Accountants (IAI) and Indonesian Institute of
Certified Public Accountants (IAPI). Deny’s appointment
marks ICAEW’s continued commitment to developing talent
and advancing the accountancy profession in Indonesia and in the region.
“ICAEW is globally recognised as a world leader in the finance and accountancy profession,” said
Deny. “With the focus on Indonesia as one of the world’s fastest growing economies, and the only
member of G20 nations within ASEAN, I am excited to be part of the process which will contribute
to the country’s development and to grow ICAEW’s presence locally.”
On his appointment, Mark Billington FCA, Regional Director of ICAEW South East Asia said,
“ICAEW has an on-going commitment to strengthening and supporting the ASEAN accountancy
and finance profession, and Deny’s appointment marks the next step in our work to help advance
the profession here in Indonesia. With over a decade’s experience within the finance and
accounting sector, Deny is a great addition to ICAEW’s team and I am looking forward to working
together. .”
