French actor Alain Delon, talking of marriage, says: “Every man
needs five wives: a movie star, a housekeeper, a cook, a listener
and a caring nurse.
Yet, since every woman needs five husbands – a clever and learnt
partner, an expert athlete, an economic wizard, a poet, and a man
who can fix a tap – we’d rather be tolerant from the very beginning.”
