PATRONS ANSWERED
Progressive steps taken by the management within the past year
have definitely answered, at least for the time being. the familiar. halfjoking and ha lf-serious quest'. continually propounded by Haverford
undergraduates "How does the Co-operative Store co-operate?"
Time and again. this lineation has been asked of an irritated clerk or
manager by a perplexed student wi h a sense of humor. and, although
usually taken good natured!), on both side, has shown that all the undergraduate. hate not felt all the time ,hat the name of the campus store
signified any definite businms policy. The representative of the store
bas usually responded to this quest on with a glib goring of reasons calculated to convince the doubting Thomas of the co-operative operation
of [hie essential college institution, but somehow this pertinent question
ham been inked again and again.
However, within the past few months all lids has been changed, and
the Co-operative Store haa been reorganiged on n basis which makes old
comeback of a diasallafied par. appear LI un utterly ridiculous interrogation. All store patrons Are now members of an institution which
