D R O P O F F / P I C K U P I N F O R M AT I O N :
All students must be dropped off and picked up at the Student Services Center, 1st floor. This is the
only location on campus where students may be dropped off or picked up. Use the rear entrance, facing the
Activities Center. Please do not use the circle driveway in the front of the building for drop off or pick
up. This is the 2nd floor of the SSC. For safety reasons, parents are required to park and walk their children
both in and out of the building.
Extended Care AM students may be dropped off at 7:30 a.m. – NO EARLIER as there will be
no supervision before 7:30 a.m. Extended Care AM will not be offered the first day of each camp.
Extended Care PM Students must be picked up BY 5:00 p.m. – NO LATER.
For the safety of our students, Kids On Campus has instituted a new pick up procedure. Names of
all persons authorized to pick up a student must be listed on the Registration/Consent form. When
the student is picked up, a photo ID and signature will be required.
Student supply lists will be available after May 1st in the Kids On Campus office and
at www.nwfsc.edu/KidsOnCampus.

Online Registration
The registration and consent form must be provided to the KOC Office prior to registering online.
The form may be emailed, mailed or delivered in person. Parents will be notified by email once forms
have been received and the student has been cleared to register. Instructions on how to register will be
included. A 2.75% convenience fee will be assessed for all credit card charges through online registration.

You may register at any NWF State College campus or center in the Student Services area. The registration and

Payment for classes must be paid prior to the start of each camp or student will be dropped from all classes. There are no exceptions.

Choose 3 classes if attending ½ day. Choose 6 classes if attending all day.
In order to register, each child MUST have a completed medical release. These releases are located on the
reverse of each registration form. Again, students will not be registered unless this form is filled out. If you are
registering a child for both sessions, only one (1) medical release needs to be competed.

Extended Care AM
Parents may drop students off beginning
at 7:30 a.m. each morning at the Student
Services Center, 1st floor, for supervised
time before classes start. Students can
play organized games before the start of
the day. There is no morning extended
care the first day of each session.
Lunch
Students may bring sack lunches
or register for the lunch package.
Registering for this course will provide
students with a daily, complete lunch. A
standard menu will be provided for each
day and no changes or substitutions
will be available.
AT H L E T I C S
Students will meet in the Student Services
Center, 1st floor, after the last class of the
day for supervised activities. Students
enrolled in Extended Care PM must
be picked up NO LATER than 5:00 p.m.
Tai Chi for Kids
Tennis
In this class students learn the basic concepts of the game.
No prior tennis experience is needed. Students must provide
their own tennis racquet. Tennis racquets MUST be labeled
with the student’s name. Mornings only.
Basketball
This class is offered for those who want to work on the
dribble, the pass, and the score! Students will participate
in drills and lots of teamwork. No previous basketball
experience is required. Please wear tennis shoes each day.

Martial Arts Mania
Extended Care PM
A fun activity to develop concentration and coordination by a
certified instructor, in small building blocks including stories
and Chinese calligraphy art. A noncompetitive activity, Tai
Chi for Kids emphasizes fun elements while developing
children’s minds and bodies and encouraging them to do their
personal best. You may even see improvement in your sport
and academic studies after doing Tai Chi. 5th – 8th graders,
Mornings only.
Yay for Yoga!
Be more confident in SELF DEFENSE STRATEGIES!
Learn how to be a SAFETY NET KID! Develop focus
and power thru BOARD BREAKING! Gain speed and
coordination with NUNCHUCKS! Come train and have fun in
MARTIAL ARTS MANIA! We teach the life skills you want for
your kids! Respect, Confidence, Self-Control and Discipline.
Explore your flexibility, strength, coordination, and selfawareness in this fun class that weaves basic yoga principles
together with fun fitness moves. Each day, we will build on
basic postures to create a flowing yoga sequence that you
can do at home! Plus, each class will incorporate some
teamwork, basic balancing poses, breathing exercises, and
relaxation skills. No previous yoga experience is required –
even if you can’t bend to touch your toes, we respect what
each person is capable of and will still have fun! What we do
ask is that you wear comfortable clothing that you can move
in, shoes that you can take off if you’d like (a lot of people
like to do yoga barefoot!), and a towel or yoga mat. 5th – 8th

First aid is a life skill that everyone can and should learn.
Have you ever seen someone fall over and hurt their leg?
Or perhaps you know someone who’s been very ill? Have you
ever been near an accident? Imagine being able to help in
each of these situations – that’s what first aid is all about.
You can learn the skills and gain confidence to save lives!
Law Enforcement officers learn skills valuable to the safety
of the community! Have you ever wanted to learn about law
enforcement and what it take to be the police? Come join us
so we can teach you some of the basic expertise to become
a law enforcement officer in the State of Florida!

Stretch your imagination. Make a collage, learn the art of
stamping, create your own signature greeting cards, craft
a wild picture frame, personalize your calendar/ journal for
2017, design a bird or a “whatisit”, watercolor and so much
more. 5th – 8th graders, Mornings only
Imagination Station
Get your imagination going and bring it with you to the
Imagination Station! This art class is for those who love
creative art projects! Each day we will create and design new
art projects, using many types of art mediums. Come show
your artistic ability and imagination! Arts and Crafts with a
twist!
NEW - Freshwater Frenzy
Mosaics Magic
Learn the basics of creating stained glass artwork while
creating your own stained glass mosaic keepsake box. You
will learn all about working with stained glass and leave
with a finished project. Stained glass Mosaics is the art of
decorating a surface with pictures and patterns made of small
pieces of glass of different colors. You will develop your
artistic skills while learning how to cut glass and how to apply
the glass to any surface! 4th – 8th graders only.
Jewelry Making
Enjoy creating your own bracelets or necklaces with colorful
beads and gems? Join Ms. Tina, a professional jewelry
designer, to learn how to create beautiful jewelry for your
friends, family and even yourself! Afternoons only.

Ever paint up-side-down? Ever make yourself into a monster
or animal? Ever make something out of nothing? Ever make
colors move? Ever paint with your feet? ... Would you like
to? If so, come mix your creativity with some really cool art
projects and see what your imagination dreams up!
NEW - A Magazine Art
Are you an artist? Do you want to become one? Then this
class is for you. We will use old Magazines to create works of
art on Canvas. Afternoons only.
AC A D E M I C S
Join the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance as we take a dive
into our local waters! If you like learning about frogs, creeks,
lakes and fish—this is the class for you! Together, we will be
learning about all of the life that can be found in and around
freshwater. We will conduct a frog survey, look at live animals
in a touch tank, dissect carnivorous plants and also take a
walking field trip to Robert’s Lake, the freshwater lake found
on campus. We hope you will join us to explore the awesome
waters of Florida! Session 1 only.
Creative Writing
Have you imagined yourself flying over as a superhero or
ruling the castle as the fairest queen of all? Try writing all of
these ideas down on paper, saving them for years to come so
that you can return to your adventures. In this class students
will expand on their imaginations and writing skills to create
short stories. At the end of the session each student will
submit one story to create a book for parents and students to
share. Grade-specific, Afternoons only.
NEW - Here We Go Loop-De-Loop
This class will offer students a chance to continue reading
and learning about popular topics in a literacy-station style
atmosphere. The students will rotate through the loops
(stations) throughout the class offering comprehension,
illustration and writing activities. This class allows each child
a chance to learn about topics in science, biographies and
celebrities, and lets them create journals and art activities
to allow self-expression. If you enjoy learning about these
topics and want to have fun while you learn, this is the class
for you. Grade specific, Mornings only.
NEW - Spanish
Like to get gooey and slimy? This is the class for you! You’ll
learn how to make all sorts of bubbly, slimy, gooey things.
Everything about this class is fun!
Come discover Spanish in a creative, unforgettable way! We
will learn vocabulary and conversation through stories, crafts,
and culture! Learning Spanish at Kids On Campus will be so
fun and effective that it won’t feel like class at all! Mornings

My Robot
Step into the future and learn to build and program robots. You will learn how to program a set of directions for a robot
you build. Program your robot to go through an obstacle
course and see if you have the right stuff to get your robot
through the course. 2-hour class, 6th – 8th graders only.
Babysitters’ Club
Thinking about becoming a babysitter? This class will
provide you with all the tools you need! Create a babysitting
bag full of fun activities, easy experiments, and tons of
games. We are also going to make and care for flour
BABIES! Don’t miss out on all of the babysitting fun!
Computers 101
Cooking Without a Kitchen
Have you ever wanted to cook something but your parents
wouldn’t let you use the kitchen? “Cooking Without a
Kitchen” will teach you several different recipes that are fun
and easy to make and even more delicious to eat. You might
be surprised at what you can cook without a stove and oven!
At the end you will be able to take home a recipe book of
all the dishes you made throughout the class. STUDENTS

It’s a Party!
Let’s plan a party! Join the cooking team to learn how to plan
a menu, make a guest list, create and decorate for the big
event, and then host an actual party. Let’s cater and have
a party! You will be able to take home your cookbook with
you at the end of camp, so you can host your own party at

Have you ever gotten frustrated with math? Wonder where
and when you will use the math you have learned? Come join
us to learn how to have fun with math. It is not always just
paper and pencil. Students will do hands on activities that
are exciting and will help students understand just how all the
math they know is used in the real world. Grade specific.
Session 2 only.
Falling behind in the computer age? In this fast paced world
it’s hard to get ahead without basic knowledge of computers. This fun and exciting environment class will help you
understand computer fundamentals. Don’t be left behind!!!

Web Design
Ever wonder about all those cool websites you see while
surfing the Internet? Want to create your own website?
Learn the basics of creating a website and become a
webmaster. We start with the basics of web design and then
you build your own website, including pictures and links. By
the end of class you’ll have a website on whatever subject
you choose that you created! 5th – 8th graders only.
NEW - Adventures of the Piggy Bank
Join us on our financial quest to learn how to manage money
while still having fun. Learn how to balance a checkbook,
keep track of deposits, and how money works in everyday
situations through role play as customers, bankers,
employers and clerks. Participants will also leave the class
with the materials needed to start saving today with their
own piggy banks and a savings account through BBVA
Compass. 3rd – 5th Grades, Mornings only.
NEW - Adventures in Finance
Join us on our financial quest to learn how to manage
finances while still having fun. Participants will learn life
skills such as how to balance a checkbook, what it’s like to
pay bills, the importance of savings and how to incorporate
technology into their everyday banking needs. Participants
will also learn how to balance a budget and explore career
options and the cost of living. Participants will also leave the
class with the materials needed to start saving today with
their own piggy banks and a savings account through BBVA

3D Print
What the mind can imagine, a 3D Printer can make! Digital
creations come to life as the layers are laid down. Visualize
the design. Create the design using a 3D modeling CAD
program and bring it to life with the 3D printer. Come and join
the class. Don’t forget to bring your imagination with you. 6th
– 8th Grades, Afternoons only.

NEW - Jammin’ Jazz Class
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
Do you love a good mystery? Have you always pictured
yourself as a Crime Scene Investigator? Think you’ve got
what it takes to solve the crime? Then come join the mystery
in our CSI Camp. You will learn how to dust for fingerprints,
examine foot and lip prints and test your detective skills.
Examine a mock Crime Scene. You’ll even get to try your
hand at facial reconstruction! 4th - 8th graders, Mornings only.
Mind Bogglers
Have you ever been told to think “outside the box?” Here
is your chance to do just that. This class will help you think
differently and to understand that there is more than one way
to solve a problem. Teamwork is the key when trying to solve
one of these problems. Grade specific

Want to pluck your way into the music world? Here’s a great
way to get started. Students will start with chords and work
their way up to a wonderful performance the last day of class.
Students must provide their own guitar. The guitar MUST be
labeled with the student’s name. No electric guitars, please.
No dance experience required! If you can skip or gallop, you
can Irish dance. This heart pumping dance class is for you
if you are interested in learning the basic beginning steps of
Irish dancing as well as a fast-paced choreographed dance
set to modern Irish music made popular by the shows “Lord of
the Dance” and “Riverdance.” Afternoons, 1st session only.
NEW - Ballet
Classical Ballet is the basis of all types of dance. This style
of dance is graceful and is precise with every move. You will
learn proper technique and posture that will help with Jazz,
Hip hop, Gymnastics, etc. No dance experience required,
come learn with a real ballerina from the NWF Ballet!
NEW - Hip Hop Hooray!
Let’s get movin’! This is a chance to let loose. Although hip
hop is still just as demanding as ballet, it is more relaxed and
free to Interpretation. Come join us and learn the latest hip
hop moves! No dance experience required.
Technical Theatre
This is the class for those who like theatre, but do not like
to perform. In this class we will make all the sets, costume
pieces and props to be used in the Musical Theatre classes.
2-hour class, Mornings only.
KOC Theatre
Guitar
Irish Dance
This dance style is super fun and upbeat. You will learn the
basics of jazz dance including leaps, turns and kicks. This is
a very lively style of dance. Come join us for a great time! No
dance experience required.
Let the show begin! This musical theatre class is looking
for musical and energetic students to bring this summer’s
selection to life. This class is designed for students to meet
new friends, get on stage and perform, and simply have fun!
Learn elementary music skills, as well as basic choreography
movements to fit the song selections. The chosen musical
will be fit for all ages, but most importantly is guaranteed to
entertain! We hope to see many smiling faces ready to dance
and sing; so as they say in show business, “that’s all folks!”
2-hour class, grade specific.
The Next Great Idol
Are you the next Justin Timberlake or Taylor Swift? Do you
love to sing? Then let’s make a CD. This class includes
vocal lessons and voice training in preparation for recording
a CD that will be produced and recorded at the end of
week 2. Classes are upbeat, fun and informative and will
cover the fundamentals of vocal performance, as well as
live performance styles, techniques and stage presence.
This is an excellent class for current school or church choir
members, and performers as well as inexperienced singers.
