Tracking Attendance
Leave before 10:00am = Absent
Leave after 10:00am = Present
Must send handwritten note
upon child’s return to school to
excuse absence.
• Make-Up Work is student’s
responsibility. They will have a
make up work folder ready when
they return.
Arrival/Dismissal
• School starts-7:50.
Students can arrive as
early at 7:20, go to
classrooms at 7:35 but
not before.
• Dismissal at 2:50
• Students will not be
called out of class after
2:20 for early checkout
Transportation
• Usual Transportation home should be the same all
year if possible
• Must send a written note, email, or call the office if
there are any changes in the way your child gets
home by 1:30
• Please do not ask teacher to send them one way if
the weather is okay and another if it is raining.
That changes moment to moment and is subjective.
• No Pick Up anywhere except car line. No picking up
at Madison.
• No walking anywhere except with walkers to Stacee
Lane.
• In morning, walkers and bikers must go around
front of building .
• No motorized vehicles, skateboards, or scooters on
school property.
Visitors/Volunteers
• Visitors- check in at office and get visitor sticker
• Visitors MUST have a driver’s license to check in
at the office
• Visitors not allowed at recess
• Volunteer opportunities- must have background
check- included chaperones for camp and field
trips.
• Sign out child early after party or volunteer
time- must sign out student in classroom or
office.
• No siblings attending classroom parties or grade
level events.
District/School Protocol
• Code of Conduct-access online
• Dress Code- follow district guidelines.
– Things to remembers: shorts /skirts must be
fingertip length, tops must be 3 fingers at
shoulder, no holes in clothes, etc.
• Cell Phones and other electronic
devices to be used for learning;
– Consequences
• 1st offence- loss of device until end of day
• 2nd offence- loss of privilege of using device for one
week
• 3rd offence- loss of privilege of using device for rest of
year.
District/School Protocol
• Items left at home- office will only
deliver lunches and jackets on cold days.
• Birthdays– If you want to send in cupcakes or donuts, they
must be sent in first thing in the morning because
we will celebrate in the morning.
– Items must Store Bought.
– No Birthday Parties
