Lo sfiato tipo ROMA viene utilizzato per evacuare le sacche d’aria che si presentano nei tubi dell’acquedotto. Lo sfiato lavora in modo
automatico. La leva di chiusura permette di isolare la parte con la sfera galleggiante dalla tubatura, scaricando l’acqua presente. Questo
è particolarmente utile quando si deve intervenire sullo sfiato o se vi è il pericolo di gelate invernali.
The “Roma” air vents is used to escape air pocket that are in pipes acqueduct. The air vents works automatically. The closing-lever
allow to isolate the body, with the floating-ball, from the pipes and discharge the water. This is particularly useful when a maintenance
is needed on the air vent or if there is danger frost during winter.
