detto che in battaglia lottate come leoni e che le frecce scagliate contro di voi non vi
colpiscono perché vengono deviate dall’arcangelo Michele. Ha detto che siete feroci
contro i saraceni e prodighi di carità verso i poveri e tutte le volte che siete
chiamati alla battaglia non domandate quanti sono i nemici ma in quale luogo si
trovano. Ha detto anche che considerate gli avversari al pari delle pecore e che
uno di voi ne mette in fuga un migliaio e due diecimila.
E’ Dio che ci rende forti. Egli è misericordioso ma
anche terribile.
