COSA È IL BIOETANOLO E COME FUNZIONA
Il bioetanolo è un combustibile di origine vegetale ottenuto mediante la fermentazione di prodotti
e scarti agricoli a base zuccherina (barbabietola, canna da zucchero, patate, cereali ecc.)
che bruciando sviluppa calore. Il residuo della sua combustione è vapore acqueo ed anidride
carbonica in livelli talmente bassi da non necessitare scarico di fumi.
È considerato risorsa energetica rinnovabile perchè si rigenera continuamente ed in tempi brevi.
RENDIMENTO
Una stufa per essere davvero funzionale deve assicurare un elevato rendimento, ossia la quantità
di calore generata dalla stufa a parità di combustibile bruciato. Nelle biostufe John Taylor Fires il
rendimento è molto elevato, difatti non utilizzando canna fumaria tutto il calore prodotto rimane
all’interno della vostra casa anziché essere disperso inutilmente nell’ambiente esterno.
