By plane: Torino Caselle international airport (15 km from city centre) has regular connections with
the major intercontinental and international airports in Europe. Other airports easily reachable are
those of Milan (Malpensa and Linate) and Genoa. Caselle airport has a bus service every 15-40
min to terminal at Torino Porta Nuova railway station (one-way ticket at airport is 5.50 Euro) from
06:30 to 23:30 (from terminal to airport, from 05:15 to 22:30), time of transport 45 min. From
MILANO MALPENSA and MILANO LINATE airports - Direct bus from Malpensa airport to Torino
leaves at 11:00 every day (one-way ticket is about 20 Euro) and on Sunday and Monday also at
15:00. Bus takes 2 hours to reach the terminal in Torino, in Corso Inghilterra at corner of Corso
Vittorio Emanuele. If you miss the bus from Malpensa airport, you have to reach Milano Centrale
railway station by bus (regular service every 30 min), and then you have a train for Torino almost
every hour. Return bus from Torino to Malpensa airport leaves at 07:15 every day and on Sunday
and Monday also at 10:00. From/to Milano Linate airport, you have a bus every 20 min to/from
Milano Centrale railway station.
By train - Torino is linked to all European countries through Milano or Lyon and Nice (France), mostly
by direct trains.
By bus - Many bus lines connect Torino (and especially Milano) to all European countries. City bus
tickets must be bought in advance at any tobacconists or newsagents (a single fare is 1.00 Euro).
By car - Several motorways connect Torino to the European motorway network through Milano,
Zürich, Geneve, Lyon, Nice, and to Central and Southern Italy through Alessandria. Follow the road
signs for the city centre until you reach Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Drive along this road and then
turn on the left when arrived at Corso Re Umberto. Follow that avenue until Piazza Solferino. Note
that Via Cappel Verde is in a restricted area.
