La Bibbia, una lettera d’amore, di Dio, all’umanità !
The Bible, a love’s letter by God to Humanity !
Una lettera scritta da mani diverse ed in tempi diversi e indirizzata al cuore di ciascun
uomo. Una lettera da leggere e rileggere con attenzione, che va digerita e meditata per
arrivare nel più profondo del cuore umano. E’ stata scritta per il beneficio spirituale di
tutta l’umanità, perché ci fa conoscere la volontà di Dio e la strada da percorrere nella
vita per vivere nella vera gioia.
A letter written by several hands, and at different times, better aimed at the heart of
everybody. A letter I have read and read over and over again, with such attention that it
was assimilated and meditated, a letter which is meant to penetrate the inmost the of
the human heart. It was written for the spiritual benefit of all humanity to help us to
know God’s will and the right path to travel in life if we want to achieve true joy.

So God created man in his image; in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them. (Gen 1, 27)
Prima di formarti nel
grembo materno, ti
conoscevo, prima che
tu uscissi alla luce, ti

Sei tu che hai creato
le mie viscere e mi
hai tessuto nel seno
di mia madre. Ti lodo
perché mi hai fatto
come un prodigio;
sono stupende le tue
opere, tu mi conosci

"Even before I
formed you in the
womb I have known
you; even before you
were born I had set
you apart…" (Jer 1,5)
It was you who
formed my inmost
part and knit me
together in my
mother's womb. I
thank you for these
wonders you have
done, and my heart
praises you for your
marvelous deeds.

Sei tu, Signore, la mia speranza, la mia fiducia fin dalla giovinezza. Su di te
mi appoggiai fin dal grembo materno, dal seno di mia madre tu sei il mio

For you, O Lord, have been my hope, my trust, O God, from my youth. I have
relied on you from birth: from my mother's womb you brought me forth. My

Egli creò da uno solo tutte le nazioni degli uomini, perché abitassero su tutta la
faccia della terra. Per essi ha stabilito l’ordine dei tempi e i confini del loro
spazio, perché cercassero Dio, se mai arrivino a trovarlo, andando come a
tentoni, benché non sia lontano da ciascuno di noi. In lui infatti viviamo, ci
muoviamo ed esistiamo, come anche alcuni dei vostri poeti hanno detto: "Poiché
di lui stirpe noi siamo". (At 17,26-28)
From one stock he created the whole human race to live throughout all the
earth, and he fixed the time and the boundaries of each nation. e wanted them
to seek him by themselves, even if it were only by groping for him, and
eventually to find him. Yet he is not far from any one of us. For in him we live
and move and have our being, as some of your poets have said: for we too are
his offspring. (Acts 17,26-28)

Tutti i miei giorni videro i tuoi occhi; nel tuo libro erano scritti tutti quanti:
vennero fissati i giorni quando neppur uno di essi esisteva ancora. Quanto
difficili sono per me i tuoi pensieri, quanto grande il loro numero, o Dio! Se
volessi contarli, son più della sabbia; giunto alla fine, sono tuttora con te.

Your eyes saw the course of my days; they were all recorded in your book
before any of them came to be. How difficult it is to grasp your thoughts, O
God! Their number cannot be counted.
If I tried to do so, they would outnumber the sands; I am never finished with

For I know what my plans
for you are, plans to save
you and not to harm you,
plans to give you a future
and to give you hope." And
Yahweh says, "When you
call on me I will listen.

For your part you shall
be righteous and perfect in
the way your heavenly
Father is righteous
and perfect. (Mt 5,48)
