GAMBARAN KARAKTERISTIK IBU
BERSALIN DENGAN KEJADIAN KETUBAN
PECAH DINI DI RSUD PROF. DR. W. Z.
JOHANNES KUPANG TAHUN 2011

Ketuban pecah dini (KPD) merupakan masalah penting dalam bidang obstetrik
yang berkaitan dengan persalinan prematur. KPD juga dapat menyebabkan
infeksi pada ibu dan bayi yang dapat meningkatkan morbiditas dan mortalitas ibu
dan bayi.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran karakteristik ibu
bersalin dengan kejadian KPD di RSUD Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johannes Kupang pada
tahun 2011 berdasarkan usia, paritas, riwayat abortus sebelumnya dan pendidikan.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian retrospektif yang bersifat deskriptif
observasional terhadap hasil rekam medis di RSUD Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johannes
Kupang pada tahun 2011.
Dari hasil pengolahan data didapatkan 272 kasus KPD pada tahun 2011 dengan
kasus terbanyak pada bulan November yaitu 36 kasus. KPD paling banyak terjadi
pada ibu dengan usia 20-35 tahun yaitu 232 orang (85,29 %), ibu dengan jumlah
paritas 1 yaitu 152 orang (55,88%), ibu tanpa riwayat abortus sebelumnya yaitu
252 orang (93,75 %) dan ibu dengan tingkat pendidikan SMA sebanyak 141 orang
(51,84 %).
Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat 272 kasus KPD di RSUD
Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johannes Kupang pada tahun 2011, paling banyak terjadi pada ibu
usia 20-35 tahun, terutama pada ibu dengan jumlah paritas 1 dan ibu dengan
tingkat pendidikan SMA.

Premature repture of membrane (PROM) is a very important matter in the
field of obstetric that has relation with premature delivery. PROM can cause
infection to mother and infant that can increase morbidity and mortality of mother
and infant.
The aim of the research is to discover the maternal characteristic description
with the incident of PROM in Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johannes Kupang Regional Public
Hospital in the year of 2011 based on age, parity, previous abortion background
and education.
The type of this research is retrospective with the characteristic of descriptive
observational towards the medical record in Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johannes Kupang
Regional Public Hospital in the year of 2011.
Based on the data processing, 272 cases of PROM were found in 2011 with
the most case in November which is 36 cases. The PROM case often occured on
mothers with the age of 20-35 years of age with the number of 232 mothers
(85,29%), mothers with the number of parity 1 is 152 mothers (55,88%), mothers
without previous abortion background is 252 mothers (93,75%) and mothers with
high school educational background is 141 mothers (51,84%).
The conclusion of the result is there are 272 cases of PROM occurred in Prof.
Dr. W. Z. Johannes Kupang Regional Public Hospital in the year of 2011, most of
th case occurred on mothers with the age of 20-35, mothers with the amount of
parity 1 and mothers with high school educational background.
