The event was held from June 24 to 27 at Expo Center Norte, along with the Fispal Food Service, Fispal Café (Coffee)and Fispal Sorvetes (Ice cream). Attended by Brazilian and International companies, the trade show gathered together professionals such as: retailers, food services, importers, distributors and wholesalers. About Fispal Food Service Fispal Food Service is the largest event for food outside the home in Latin America. The shows, SIAL Brazil and Fispal, complement each other for the food and beverage industry, showcasing innovations in products and services for the Latin American food service and retail sectors. More than 3,000 people tried our mango and guava ketchups in the four days of the trade show and many business opportunities were created. In 2014, 20 products were selected from Brazilian and international exhibitors, out of 30 registered. Of the products selected, ten won awards as innovative. Among them, the Capperi Croccanti - Cucunci from Fratellini Alimentos won the Special Award as the most innovative product at the event. The ten award winners in SIAL Innovation: “The SIAL Innovation Award is a platform for companies that invest in and foster innovation in the food sector. The rounds brokered contact between exhibitors and buyers from major distribution channels.
