While the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development administers the
exams, study manuals are purchased from MSU Extension. To obtain manuals:
1. Visit http://shop.msu.edu and click on “MSU Extension Bookstore” at the top,
followed by “Pesticide Applicator Training” in the drop-down menu
2. Call shop.msu.edu at (517) 432-1859 or (800) 709-9195
3. Some manuals are available in PDF format for free at
http://www.ipm.msu.edu/pesticide_education_safety/training_manuals
4. Visit your local MSU Extension office. Find locations at http://msue.anr.msu.edu and
click on “Counties” on the left. County offices carry the more commonly requested
manuals, but not all. We recommend that you call ahead to confirm that they have
the manual you want available.
