Team 6-2 Discipline – Titan Tokens All of Team 6-2 will run on a system that we believe helps students with their organization, personal responsibilities, and appropriate behavior within the classroom. ● Each nine week grading period, the students have the opportunity to earn “Titan Tokens”. Tokens will be tracked on a sheet that will be kept in the students’ team binders, and will be expected to be with them for the entire grading period. ● On the flip side, a student can also receive “Titan Tickets”. Teachers will sign off on these “tickets” for violations of team/school policies. These infractions include the expectations listed on the previous page and any other off-task behavior that the teacher deems inappropriate. ● Consequences of Titan Tickets are: o If 4 tokens are withdrawn, the student will have a student/teacher conference. o If 8 tokens are withdrawn, the parent will be contacted. o If 12 tokens are withdrawn, the student will serve lunch detention. o If 16 tokens are withdrawn, the student will have an office referral. ● Students will have an opportunity to deposit “bonus” tokens when they are “caught” going above and beyond with excellent citizenship including acts of kindness and leadership. These will be given at teachers’ discretion. Good choices will be rewarded/celebrated each grading period. ● Students will have one opportunity to replace a lost token sheet. However we will not replace the amount of lost tokens. As well as, the first column on the ticket side will be marked out. If lost a second time, students will receive a detention in place of taking a ticket. ● All students will receive a new set of tokens, and a clean slate, at the beginning of each nine weeks.
