Reactor Oversight Process Enhancement Project Public Meeting with Industry
On May 20, 2014, the staff held a public meeting with members of industry to discuss the
industry-proposed model to monitor safety culture at nuclear power plants in lieu of the current
substantive cross-cutting issue process. This meeting was part of the Reactor Oversight
Process Enhancement Project. Industry representatives responded to staff questions about the
proposal. Staff intends to evaluate the proposal to determine acceptability and will continue to
work with all stakeholders.
