On January 6, 2016, the NRC published a direct final rule in the Federal Register (81 FR 371)
amending its spent fuel storage regulations by revising the Holtec International HI-STORM 100
Cask System listing within the “List of Approved Spent Fuel Storage Casks,” to add Amendment
No. 9, Revision 1, to Certificate of Compliance No. 1014. The companion proposed rule was
published in the Federal Register on January 6, 2016 (81 FR 412). Unless significant adverse

10 CFR Part 50 (PRM-50-112; NRC-2015-0213)
On January 6, 2016, the NRC published a notice of docketing and request for comment in the
Federal Register (81 FR 410) for a PRM from Kurt T. Schaefer, dated July 20, 2015, and
supplemented on August 31, 2015. The petition was docketed by the NRC on September 4,
