Smith Edison
THE WORLD’S FAVOURITE ALL-ELECTRIC LIGHT COMMERCIAL VEHICLE
Built on the iconic Ford Transit chassis, the Smith
Edison is the world’s best-selling electric light
commercial vehicle (LCV).
Edison is available as a panel van, chassis cab or minibus, in gross vehicle
weights ranging from 3,500kg-4,600kg. The chassis cab is suitable for bodies
including dropside, tipper, box and refrigerated box, while the minibus is
available in 12, 13, 15 and 17 seat configurations.
Options include a larger battery pack for increased autonomy and a
fast-charger that completely recharges the batteries in just four hours.
