Force on Unsolicited Mid-Scale
Research, pursuant to NSF regulations
(45 CFR part 614), the National Science
Foundation Act, as amended (42 U.S.C.
1862n–5), and the Government in the
Sunshine Act (5 U.S.C. 552b), hereby
gives notice in regard to the scheduling
of a teleconference for the transaction of
National Science Board business and
other matters specified, as follows:
DATE AND TIME: Monday, February 27;
12:30 p.m.–1:30 p.m. EST.
SUBJECT MATTER: (1) Co-Chair’s opening
remarks; (2) Discussion of the final
report of the NSB Task Force on
Unsolicited Mid-Scale Research; and (3)
Update on data gathering activities.
STATUS: Open.
LOCATION: This meeting will be held by
teleconference at the National Science
Board Office, National Science
Foundation, 4201 Wilson Blvd.,

AGENCY:
Draft NUREG/CR; extension for
public comment period.
ACTION:
On December 29, 2011 (76 FR
81998), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory
Commission (NRC) published in the
Federal Register a request for public
comment on Draft NUREG/CR–7114,
Revision 0, ‘‘Methodology for Low
Power/Shutdown Fire PRA.’’ In
response to request from members of the
public, the NRC is extending the public
comment period until April 18, 2012.
SUMMARY:
The comment period has been
extended and expires on April 18, 2012.
Comments received after this date will
be considered if it is practical to do so,
but the NRC staff is able to ensure
consideration only for comments
received on or before this date.
