beneficial for you to practice from these books over the summer as the district and region etudes for the
coming school year will be chosen from the books listed for your instrument. Books can be purchased from
Penders in Denton or ordered online from Amazon. Amazon has new and used copies available for very
reasonable prices.

It is highly recommended that all students who made Wind Ensemble take private lessons from an approved
DISD private lesson teacher here on our campus. Private lessons are $18 per lesson and happen once a week
before school, after school, or during your band class time. Private lessons can also begin this summer at
Guyer HS on Tuesdays with an approved DISD lesson teacher. Approved private lesson teacher list on back.
