The response submitted for Request for Additional Information (RAI) No. 1001 (Reference 1)
included several figures for which the NRC has requested clarification changes. Enhancements
were requested for Figure RAI 1001-1 (Figure 2.2-1), Figure RAI 1001-16 (Figures 2.1-1 and
2.2-1), Figure RAI 1001-17 (Figures 2-1 and 2-2), Figure RAI 1001-18 (Thiokol Site Location
figure), Figure RAI 1001-20 (Figure 2.2-9), Figure RAI 1001-21 (Figure 2.3-1), Figure RAI 100125 (Figure 2.5-1), Figure RAI 1001-27 (Figure 2.5-7) and Figure RAI 1001-28 (Figure 2.5-8).
Figure RAI 1001-16 (Figures 2.1-1 and 2.2-1) and Figure RAI 1001-17 (Figures 2-1 and 2-2) are
associated with the alternative sites discussion in Environmental Report Section 9.3, Alternative
Sites. A supplement to this section was submitted in UniStar Nuclear Energy letter UN#09-319
(Reference 2). These figures showed alternate site locations which are no longer in the region
of interest. Consequently, those figures are no longer applicable to the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear
Power Plant Unit 3 Environmental Report. This letter transmits the remaining figures. Hard

copies of the figures are included in Enclosure 1. Enclosure 2 is a compact disc containing
electronic versions of the figures.
This letter does not include any new regulatory commitments and does not impact COLA
content.
