Crazy animal project
Crazy animal project
Since Halloween is coming up, the project for this 6 weeks is the creation of a crazy, Frankensteintype animal. You may work with one other person, but you must both work on the drawing and the
description (not one do the drawing and the other the description.) If you do not do the work together,
you will both get 0’s.
Your assignment is to create a crazy animal that is a combination of several different animals.
[FYI Two is not several.]
1. You will draw and color this animal on poster board (at least half a sheet) or create it
digitally. If you want, you may create one out of stuffed animals instead.
2. You will write a paragraph IN LATIN describing your animal and include an English
translation.
3. Give your animal a scientific name (using scientific naming strategies) and explain on your
poster how you got that name.
5. You will include on your poster your :
a. Drawing
b. Latin paragraph
c. English translation of your Latin paragraph
d. scientific name and explanation.
You will need to learn:
1. Latin animals
2. Latin colors
3. Latin body parts
4. Scientific naming techniques

given it some character.  (required for Latin 2 & 3, bonus for Lat 1)
**I have checked to make sure I’ve used correct Latin word endings
I did not use the Latin words “a/ab” or “de” or “ex” but instead used the
proper genitive case endings. I also used the accusative case where
appropriate.
I have included an English translation of my description.
