What Is Being Done?
The Michigan Department of Transportation
(MDOT) will be rebuilding I-94 Business Loop (BL)
(Stadium Drive) from 11th Street to east of Seneca
Lane, including the US-131/Stadium Drive bridge
and interchange.

How Will Traffic Be Affected?
DRAKE ROAD
The US-131/Stadium Drive bridge and interchange
reconstruction will occur from March to
September 2015.
11TH STREET
The majority of reconstruction of I-94 BL/Stadium
Drive from Drake Road to east of Seneca Avenue
will take place from April to Labor Day 2014. Also in
2014, US-131 will have roadway and ramp work to
accommodate the bridge replacement work in 2015.

SENECA LANE
In 2014, one lane of Stadium Drive will be open
in each direction, and a left-turn lane will be open
from Drake Road to Seneca Avenue. US-131 will
have nighttime lane closures. The long ramps will
be closed and detoured for up to three weeks.
In 2015, one lane of Stadium Drive will be open
in each direction from 11th Street to Drake Road.
US-131 will have nighttime lane closures. The loop
ramps will be closed and detoured for the 2015
construction season.

Long-term Benefits
The new I-94 BL/Stadium Drive interchange
with US-131 and intersection at Drake Road
will improve safety and traffic flow, as well as
relieve congestion.
