Jim McCune
Plumbing
USU Facilities is proud
to announce Jim W. McCune
as the Employee of the
Month for July, 2011.
Jim has worked at
Facilites for seven years and
nine
months
in
the
Plumbing Shop.
Prior to working at Utah
State, Jim worked with
various
Mechanical
Contractors in Utah and Salt
Lake Counties for twenty-one
years.
Jim is originally from
Nephi. He graduated high
school in Spanish Fork. He
lived in Orem & Lindon
until moving to Richmond in
2003.
Jim married his wife,
Sheryl, in October 2006.
Jim McCune
Together they have five
children. Two boys and three
girls. Also they are blessed
with ten grandchildren, with
another one on the way.
Jim enjoys boating,
camping and 4-wheeling. He
also likes NASCAR. His favorite pastime is being with
family and friends.
Congratulations Jim, you
are very deserving of this
award. Thanks for all you do!

It’s time once again for the Annual
Hackers on the River Golf Tournament
When: Thursday, July 28, 2011
Where: Logan River Golf Course
Time: 3:00pm shotgun start
(Please try to arrive ½ hour early)
Cost: $20.00
The cost buys 18 holes of golf with a cart &
dinner afterwards catered by the Iron Gate Grill.
Get your group of four together for a fun round of golf.
There is a sign up sheet by the Warehouse.

Dear Brian Daines,
I have to thank you for the beautiful job on
the USU campus landscaping. After a harsh
winter, tough legislative session with a
significant financial hit to the University, and
a spring that seemed determined to never
arrive, the flowers, grasses and other plantings
on campus are a joy to see. Individuals who
make our days more pleasant and work
tirelessly behind the scenes, often don’t get the
thanks that many people feel, but never
articulate. So I extend to you a very sincere
“thank you” from all of us at COMD for
brightening our environment every day.
