Completed Ph.D. on the topic of ‘Legal Persoanlity of Unborn-A Jurisprudential analysis’ under the able guidance of Prof.
Poonam Saxena. Within this, I have analyze the extent to which, a fetus is recognized as a legal person having a distinct legal
identity, the rights that it is allowed to have and so on, especially if they come in conflict with the rights of the mother.
Teaching Experience ( Subjects/Courses Taught)
Teaching experience of 9 years 3 months at Law Centre-I, Faculty of Law, DU. Taught Jurisprudence,
Intellectual Property Rights, Taxation laws, Election Laws, Negotiable Instruments, Banking and
Insurance till date. Taught Comparative Jurisprudence to LL.M/MCL.

Received the prestigious ‘Sukhdevi Girdhari Lal Grover Prize’ for being the best candidate in
Constitutional Law in LL.B (Presented at the 78th Annual Convocation of the Delhi University, 2000

Assisted in the coordination of a ‘2 day International Conference on Development in IL-IP Laws’ organised by the
Faculty of Law in collaboration with ISIL during March 22-23, 2014 at Law Centre-I, Faculty of Law, University of
Delhi.
Assissted as co-convener in organising on 24-25 Feb 2012 an International Conference on Intellectual Property Laws
and during 26-27 Feb 2012 an Advanced Level International Workshop on Intellectual Property Laws under the
Directorship of Prof Ashwani Kumar Bansal
Asissted in organising the ambitious Training the Trainers Programme in the field of Information Technology
(March 19 to 21 2010) under the Directorship of Sh Prof. Ashwani Kumar Bansal. The capacity building programme
titled “3 day Workshop-cum-Conference on Information Technology Laws and Related Intellectual Property” was
inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Minister for Law, Sh. Veerappa Moily and brought together stalwarts from the fields
of IT law, IT Bureaucrats including technologists from Ministry of Information Technology, Law Professors
experienced in IT and IP, judges from the Supreme court/High Courts
Convened a “Workshop on Biotechnology, IPR’s and plant varieties and Farmers’ Rights” on 13th September, 2008
in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, Delhi University and the Seed Association of India.
Contributed towards editing the book Ashwani Bansals’ “Trade Mark Law in India”, updated edition 2009, jointly
published by CLIPTRADE and ICPS (Institute of Constitutional Parliamentary Studies)
