The providers who are going to receive Immunization Quality Improvement AFIX Awards during the 2016 Michigan Regional Immunization Conferences are listed on pages 2-4. The Michigan AFIX Quality Improvement program is focused on quality improvement of immunizations. The process reviews not only vaccine coverage levels, but also the challenges and barriers occurring at practices. A quality improvement plan is There are four categories (2 pediatric and 2 adolescent) for the awards. The providers listed have met or exceeded the category criteria that are listed below. The data was retrieved from the Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR) as of June 2016. Staff from these offices, attending the 2016 conferences, will be given green AFIX Award ribbons to wear on their name tags and the practice/ clinic will receive a framed certificate to display in their waiting area.
