EacMonsterNet Wireless Setup
For iPad Devices
These instructions will help you set up your on campus wireless connection to EacMonsterNet.
Before beginning, you must be on campus, in the location of a hot spot.
1. Go to Settings on your iPad. Select Wi-Fi,
then Other…
8. Type: EacMonsterNet and select
“Security.”
9. First, choose WPA2 Enterprise, and then select the
Other Network arrow in the top left corner.

10. Next, you’ll need to type in your
Monster ID and Gila Hank password. For
non EAC students enter your affiliated
email address and password.
11. Click “Accept.”
Once you can see that your iPad is receiving a signal
EacMonsterNet wireless network.
, you will be connected to the
SPECIAL NOTE: There is a bug (or discontinuation of a previous feature) in iOS 5.x that may
require some users to perform additional steps to establish connectivity with EAC’s wireless
network. In these cases, you may want to use the iPhone Configuration Utility (which also
works for iPad) provided by Apple: http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/enterprise/ This
utility will allow you to select “Any (Enterprise)” as a security type (step 4 above), instead of
WPA2 Enterprise. All other configuration settings remain the same.
