Notes: The foregoing is a recommended, or suggested, sequence of courses. Of course, if a student enters the program in
the spring, or transfers credit in, the above would have to be modified.
Entry into the Cosmetology program requires prior admission. Contact Eastern Arizona Academy of Cosmetology at (928)
348-8878 or [email protected] for additional information or an Admissions Packet. Upon acceptance, the Academy
will coordinate student registration with Eastern Arizona College prior to classes beginning. Students will not be allowed
to register for these classes on their own.
All courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better--Be sure to check the catalog for other changes and
requirements.
An AAS in cosmetology is also available. Students interested in the Cosmetology AAS – 20111 should contact Gayrene
Claridge, Supervisor, Job Placement and Occupational Advising or Janice Lawhorn, Ph.D., Dean of Curriculum and
Instruction for assistance in registering in the General Education Requirement and Elective Requirement courses for this
program.
