This appointment, the first of its
kind at St.Amant, acknowledges
Dickie's extraordinary
contributions to research in

disabilities, as well as to St.Amant
Research Centre, and his inspiring,
ongoing commitment to scientific
investigation, evidence-based
practice, and the well-being of
persons with developmental
disabilities.

Doug Alards-Tomalin wrote an
article on the relationship
between arithmetic cognition and
time perception. The article
appears in the Winter 2015 issue
of the Canadian Psychological
Association's Psynopsis Magazine
(p. 11).

Melanie Soderstrom examining
bilingual babies’ ability to
discriminate different vowel
contrasts.
Alexie Touchette received a
NSERC USRA to work with Dr.
Jonathan Marotta examining how
allocentric and egocentric
information influences eye and
hand movements.

Workshop
The School Psychology Program
and Manitoba Association of
School Psychologists (MASP) are
pleased to present a free
workshop on psychopharmacology with Dr. Julie
Enyingi, on March 12th from 9:00
AM to 4:00 PM in room P412 Duff
