ENGAGING POLICY MAKERS OF THE FUTURE JULY 25th-30th | VANCOUVER, CANADA SIMON FRASER UNIVERSITY now has 28 members and has lasted through the Cold War and Post-9/11 era guaranteeing the defence of its members in Europe and North America. After the end of the Cold War, NATO has added to its collective defence role two core tasks: crisis management and cooperative security. The latter includes reaching out to partner nations at a global level. NATO SIMULATION Global Model NATO Summit is an international engagement initiative by Simon Fraser University. Global Model NATO Summit seeks to bring together students from all over the world to debate, learn and simulate NATO. At this conference there will be academics, military, diplomats and other important stakeholders of NATO.
