Family, School, and Community Partnering (FSCP) Network Bulletin September 2014 2014-2015 FSCP Network This twelfth edition of the Bulletin is sent to the Family, School, and Community Partnering (FSCP) Support Network from the Exceptional Student Services Unit and the Office of Learning Supports. You are receiving this Bulletin if you have expressed an interest in family, school, and community partnering through one of the following connections: • You have participated in a training opportunity on family partnering (online course or face-to-face training). • You were a recipient of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Implementation Grant. • You are a member of the State Advisory Council on Parent Involvement in Education (SACPIE). • You are an identified contact for a higher education educator training program. • You have requested to be in the Network. October 2014 is Family and School Partnership in Education Month! Mark your calendars and be thinking how your school, district, and/or community might celebrate Family and School Partnership in Education Month during October and throughout the year. The 2014 Proclamation (attached to this email) is available online, in English and in Spanish, at http://www.cde.state.co.us/sacpie. There will be an October Kickoff event at the Colorado Department of Education (201 E. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80203) on October 1, 2014, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for all stakeholders.
