Office Date: ____________ N.B.: Seal …………………………………………………… Head of the Institution with Official Seal i) Direct Approach by the candidate will not be entertained. ii) Review Rules Overleaf. *CANDIDATES ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE BOTH SIDE PHOTOCOPY OF THIS PRESCRIBED APPLICATION FORM SALIENT FEATURES FOR ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY FOR POST PUBLICATION REVIEW ►Rule-1 (a) A candidate may apply for Post-publication Review of his/her answer-script(s) in the prescribed form and manner and on submission of fees prescribed for the purpose within the date as per notification to be issued by the Office of the Controller of Examinations at the time of publication of result. (b) Such applications must be checked and verified by the colleges concerned in regard to eligibility of the candidates applying for review. All such applications must be forwarded by the Principal/Teacher-in-Charge of the college concerned. (c) There will be no Review/Scrutiny of Tutorial & Test Examination parts of Papers- I to VIII and Practical Papers - XI to XIV. (d) Post- publication Review and Post- publication Scrutiny of the same paper(s) shall not be allowed. (e) Incomplete and faulty application is liable to be rejected without assigning any reason or without any intimation to the candidate / college concerned. (f) Under no circumstances fees for Post Publication Review once paid be refunded. ►Rule-2 A candidate may apply for Post-Publication Review of a maximum number of four (04) theoretical papers (written parts only): Provided that the candidate has secured a minimum of 30% marks in the written part(s) of each of the paper(s) asked for Review and 40% marks in aggregate (excluding the Tutorial & Test Examination parts of Papers- I to VIII and Practical Papers - XI to XIV) in the remaining papers not asked for Review. ►Rule-3 Any addition or subtraction of marks as declared by the University after Post-Publication Review shall be treated as final and shall be binding on the candidate. No further application for consideration of Post-Publication Review result shall be entertained. SALIENT FEATURES FOR ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY FOR P O S T P U B L I C A T I O N SCRUTINY ►Rule-1 “Post-Publication Scrutiny” does not imply re-examination or re-assessment of scripts but involve verification of scripts and records to ascertain (a) Marks have been assigned to each of the required number of answers made by an examinee as per instruction printed on the question paper. (b) Totaling of marks awarded by the Examiners on the scripts /mark- slips, as the case may be, has correctly been done. ►Rule-2 There shall be no Post-Publication Scrutiny of Tutorial & Test Examinations parts of PapersI to VIII and Practical Papers - XI to XIV. ►Rule-3 Scrutiny and Review of same paper(s) shall not be allowed. ►Rule-4 A candidate applying for Post-Publication Scrutiny of his/her answer-scripts shall have to accept the change in his/her marks after Post-Publication Scrutiny.
