Tenor
Francesco Brito was born 1986 in Argentina, he started singing in Argentina and continued his
studies at the Accademia d’Arte Lirica di Osimo as well as at Scuola dell’Opera Italiana in
Bologna.
He made his operatic debut in „Viaggio a Reims“ at the Rossini Festival in Pesaro.
Further engagements brought him to Martina Franca as Ulisse in „Achille in Sciro“ and with
„Viaggio a Reims“ to Treviso and Jesi.
He sang most successfully the role of Lindoro in „Italiana in Algeri“ at Teatro Municipale in
Piacenza and at Teatro Pavarotti in Modena, “Re Pastore” at Festival in Martina Franca as
well as Eacide in „Zelmira“ with Mo. Roberto Abbado in Pesaro.
2010 he was heard in Martina Franca with “Pomme d’api“ of Offenbach, at Teatro
Comunale in Bologna with „Traviata“ and two productions of Offenbach’s „Pomme d’api“
and „Monsieur Choufleuri” and at Festival “Friuli Venezia” in Udine as Tamino in
“Zauberflöte”.
2011 he sang at Teatro Comunale in Bologna Tamino, in Jesi and Lugo „Monsieur
Choufleuri “, in Martina Franca “Pomme d’api“, at Semperoper in Dresden in „Anna
Bolena“ and „Gazza ladra“, in Argentina in La Plata as Belfiore in „Viaggio a Reims“ as well
as at Festival in Toblach in South Tyrol as Doge and Gondoliere in „Otello“ by Rossini.
2011/12/13 he is engaged at the theatre Frankfurt, where he can be heard in „Amico Fritz“,
"Adriana Lecouvreur", "Signor Bruschino", in the productio "Barbiere di Siviglia" for children
and in "Rappresentazione anima e corpo" further he was heard in „Signor Bruschino“ at
Festival in Pesaro.
2013 he can be heard in Darmstadt as Ernesto and as Ramiro in "Cerenerola" in Dresden,
2013/14 in Mannheim with "Scala di seta", with Staatstheater Wiesbaden in Antibes as
Almaviva in "Barbiere di Siviglia" and 2014 as Gianetto in "Gazza ladra" in Frankfurt, in
"L'occasione fa il ladro" in Trieste and Conte Almaviva in "Barbiere di Siviglia" in Dresden.
