Stakeholder Comment and AESO Replies Matrix Re-Consultation on Proposed New and Amended Definition Changes Related to Proposed New ISO Rules Section 504.5, Service Proposals and Cost Estimating (“New and Amended Section 504.5 Definitions") Date of Request for Comment: November 9, 2015 Period of Consultation: November 9, 2015 through December 11, 2015 Definitions – New Existing Changes made to Original Proposed Definitions No definition currently exists in the ISO Rules “cost estimate” means a compilation of all the probable costs of the elements of a project included within an agreed upon defined scope. The cost estimate is to be provided in the form of the “Cost Estimating Template” available on the AESO website. “original authorized budget” means a document setting out the allocation of resources against which cost performance will be measured and assessed. “accuracy range” means an expression of a cost estimate’s predicted closeness to final actual costs or time, which is typically expressed as high/low percentages by which actual results will be over and under the cost estimate. Perhaps the concept of ‘time’ is not relevant for the accuracy range, considering the range is focused on cost? If so, remove “or time”. 1.
