Automated Dispatch and Messaging System (ADaMS)
All pool participants with dispatchable assets are required to have access to the
AESO’s Automated Dispatch and Messaging System (ADaMS), as per ISO Rule
6.2.2. ADaMS is a secure, on-line system that provides the system controllers
(SC) with an interface between the AESO’s Dispatch Tool (DT), and the internet.
Pool participants must apply to the AESO to obtain access to the ADaMS. Upon
AESO approval, the AESO will assign both a pool participant specific log-on User
ID, and a password for each carbon copy (CC) or dispatch (DR) account
requested by the pool participant. Please note that each account that is created
has a unique password. Pool participants should ensure that their User-ID and
passwords for each CC and DR account remain secure.
If a pool participant needs to change an ADaMS DR or CC account password,
the pool participant’s corporate contact (as registered in the Energy Trading
System (ETS)), must send an email to [email protected], requesting the change.
The email must include the following information:
• Pool participant name as registered in ETS
• Account User Name (pool participant ADaMS log-on User ID)
• Which ADaMS account (DR or CC Account)
• Provide a pool participant contact that the AESO can deliver the new
password to
Subject to the AESO’s review and approval, the pool participant will be contacted
within 14 business days with a new ADaMS password.
If a pool participant requires information regarding existing ADaMS accounts that
are currently registered to that pool participant, the corporate contact as
registered in ETS must send an email to [email protected].
