Il divano Edward è una rilettura in chiave contemporanea
di un archetipo americano della metà del 1900. Il risultato è un divano senza tempo dal look sofisticato.
Edward is a contemporary reinterpretation of an
American mid century archetype established by
designer Edward Wormley, and utilizes a number of
new production techniques for improved comfort and a
more refined profile.
La seduta con bottoni allude alle radici “anni ‘50”
di Edward, ma le proporzioni ed il comfort sono
decisamente contemporanei.
Il telaio del divano Edward è costruito in metallo ed
adotta un sistema elastico di sospensione. Schienale
e braccioli sono realizzati con schiuma poliuretanica,
tagliati e rifiniti con macchine a controllo numerico per
fornire un comfort superiore ed un look deciso. I cuscini
dello schienale sono realizzati con una distribuzione
uniforme di piume e ovatta, in modo da fornire un
sostegno lombare ottimale.

The combination of several down-filled back cushions
with a single seat cushion gives an informal and relaxed appearance. The buttoned seat cushion alludes
to the Edwards mid century roots, yet its proportions
and comfort are decidedly contemporary.
Edward is constructed with a durable steel frame
featuring an elastic webbing suspension system
adapted from the automotive industry. CNC precision
cut foam is used for the arms and back to give superior
comfort and a tailored appearance.
