Scholarship support for all Fall or Spring Semester,
providing it is the semester in which the student is
enrolled in student teaching with graduation expected
at the end of that semester. This one-time scholarship
may be used for any reasonable expenses and there
shall not be more than one recipent per academic
year. Student must be a high school graduate and have
a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75. Recipient must be

bilingual and a fluent English speaker and writer.

Student must intend to teach in the U.S. for 3 years or
longer and must be completing the student teaching
requirement for certification in Texas including at
least one of the following: early childhood, elementary
or secondary. The recipient may be pursuig any
academic program which will lead to valid Texas
teacher certification.
