will be performing at the
Murrieta Veteran’s Day Parade on Wednesday, November 11, 2015
Location: Old Town Murrieta
Drop off/Pickup at the Murrieta Senior Center (5 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562)
Look for the DMMS trailer.
This is a carpool event. Please plan on finding a ride to and from the event.
Time Schedule:
8:45am All members arrive at Murrieta Senior Center, check in with Mrs. Gordon
9:30am Move To Assigned Pre-staging Area
10:00am Parade Starts
11:30am Approximate Parade Ends/Load Trailers
11:45am Approximate Dismissal/Pickup at Murrieta Senior Center/DMMS trailer
Parents: I need to see you to release your student to you.. safety first always!
All Drum Line, and any others who are willing to help – Meet back at DMMS to unload
Band Uniform:
Music Dept. Polo
Black dress pants with plain black belt
Black, over-the-ankle dress socks
All-black tie on marching shoes (Dinkles) or all-black sneakers/Vans
Do:
Play through your music a couple of times before you leave home.
Eat a good breakfast before you arrive
Drink water before you arrive
Bring:
Your assembled instrument: leave case in the car!
Reed players: put an extra reed in your pocket just in case.
