Terms and Conditions
1.
The festival is open for entries from individual and institutional Indian
Producers/Directors. The entries are to be sent strictly in the prescribed format along with
the other mentioned details. Only one entry shall be entertained per individual/institution, in
each category.
2.
Only the documentary films produced during the period 1st January, 2013 to 31st December,
2013 shall be eligible for participation.
3.
Entries received till 5 PM on 20th February, 2015, shall undergo screening before the jury of
experts for its preview, evaluation and recommendations.
4.
Only the Documentary Films shortlisted by the jury shall be screened at the Festival.
5.
Producers/Directors of the selected films shall be informed through announcement on CEC
website-www.cec-ugc.nic.in, EMRC Kolkata website-www.emrc.org and through
personalized correspondence (at the address mentioned in the Entry Form) and shall be
invited to the Festival.
6.
Producers/Directors shall be allowed to address the audience at the Colloquium and share
their experiences and other nuances of the film making. The festival shall also witness the
intermittent annotations and insights by the panel of experts about the films screened
thereat.
7.
The Producers/Directors whose entries would be selected for screening in the festival shall
be given a memento and certificate of participation.
8.
Producers/Directors (any one of them) shall be paid to and fro 2nd AC train fare OR the
actuals of conveyance through other means (except air fare), whichever is less, from their
address/location mentioned in the entry form. Also the lodging and boarding arrangements
at the venue of the festival, shall be taken care of by EMRC Kolkata on behalf of CEC.
9.
The decision of jury in the selection of films shall be final and binding on the participants
and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
10. EMRC Kolkata on behalf of CEC reserves the right to accept or reject any entry without
assigning any reason.
