Introduction
• The European C-130 Maintenance Symposium
(EMS) is a collaborative working level
agreement between nominated European based
Hercules C-130 operators.
• First meetings started at year 2000

Objectives of the EMS
• To facilitate working level discussion amongst
member nations on current C-130 technical,
support and operations issues.
• To enhance the visibility of common problems as
a large group of C-130 operators with Lockheed
Martin, Service Centres and Support Companies.
EMS Group meets annually in April and during the HOC
The chairman of the EMS is elected for a 1-year period,
from one Member Nation of the EMS
