The New Analytical Mindset—For Finance and
Accounting Professionals
The finance and accounting functions are key parts of a business
strategy, however many professionals seem to lack the skills
needed to validate, question or analytically evaluate the rationale
provided in support of recent financial activities, changes to
business strategy and/or economic trends. To address this issue,
some organizations are reinventing their accounting and finance
roles, often requiring new skills that stretch beyond accounting,
tax and compliance competencies. While the list of required skills
varies per organization, this interactive instructor-led course is
designed to cover a few basic analytical thinking, problem solving
and communication skill techniques. Our panel of PwC subject
matter specialists will share various ways these techniques are
commonly used by people working in accounting and finance roles.

the procurement related frauds which business professionals of
all areas or departments can be at the forefront of identifying,
combating and preventing. This course examines common
pitfalls encountered during vendor selection and drafting
contracts, as well as common techniques for identifying these
pitfalls to help minimize the opportunity for third party
contracting fraud or misrepresentation. PwC Forensics
professionals will share real life examples of their experiences

policy:
For scheduled seminars with an associated fee,
full payment must accompany your registration.
We accept credit cards from all major credit
card providers. Payment and registration
confirmation will be sent upon receipt of
your registration. Fee includes the seminar
delivery, participant manual, refreshments and
luncheon during full-day events. Hotel and
travel accommodations are the responsibility
of the participants. Nonrefundable airline
reservations are not recommended. Deadlines
to register are one week prior to the event date.
Late registrations will be accepted on a spaceavailable basis.
Cancellation
policy:
For seminars with an associated fee,
registrations cancelled at least two weeks prior
to the event date will either be fully refunded
or transferred to another PDP scheduled
seminar within the same calendar year. No
refund or payment transfer will be available
for cancellations received after this deadline.
Cancellations for complimentary events should
also be received at least two weeks prior to the
event date. Please note: On occasion, due to
unforeseen circumstances, it may be necessary
to cancel a scheduled seminar. In this case, we
will make every effort to notify participants as
soon as possible and reschedule the program.
Participants will not be reimbursed for
expenses incurred in connection with the
cancelled seminar.
PDP live webcast solutions keep you current on
the latest technical developments and provide
you the ultimate flexibility. Refer below for a
listing of 2016 live webcast events. Events are
CPE-eligible for anyone who participates in
the live event.
