Who are the teachers? Movlan Pashayev, Country Managing Partner for PwC Azerbaijan Azerbaijan: Movlan joined the Firm in April 1996 with a Master of Law degree. He has over 16 years of experience serving private and public companies in resolving complex business issues in Azerbaijan and the wider Eurasia region. Movlan's international experience includes the secondment in the PwC’s Energy, Mining and Utilities Group in London, UK. Movlan has long been involved in supporting the Government in modernising and reforming the investment climate and tax regime of Azerbaijan, and served as a member of the variou various working groups. Movlan also holds the position of a Board director at the American Chamber of Commerce. Movlan is a professor of taxation and business law at the Law School of the Baku State University. He is a regular speaker at various international conferences onferences and seminars and is an author of a number of articles and chapters in specialised books and publications. Dr. Janine L. Clarke:: Dr. Janine L. Clarke is the Director of the MBA programs and Associate Professor of Business at the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy. She has over 20 years of experience in development and delivery of the management and executive development programs for academic, federal government, ment, and private sector organizations. Dr. Clarke has also got broad background in Organizational Strategy. gy. Dr. Clarke holds a PhD in Management M and Technology from the School chool of Business, George Washington University, University MA in Human Resource Management from Marymount University, and a BA in Psychology/English Psychology/English from Wheaton college.
