B-CC is a comprehensive public high school that has a full complement of challenging academics and innovative programs, including: Advanced Placement, Honors, IB Middle Years, and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programs. Successful completion of the IB Diploma qualifies a student for university entrance in over 150 countries around the world. Most American students completing the Diploma Program stay in the US for university studies where the IB Diploma is recognized for its academic rigor and interdisciplinary nature. The IB Diploma Program provides a broad, common curriculum that is assessed through internationally-developed and assessed oral and written examinations. The curriculum is established on goals outlined by the Curriculum Board of the International Baccalaureate in The Hague, Netherlands.
