Living in the period of rapid economic development, talent competition and dramatic changes of the social environment, college students face more and more problems such as academic competition, ability to challenge, interpersonal confusion, love troubles, employment pressure, etc. Because learning and living conditions are relatively favorable, coupled with our education in the past ignored the frustration of their education, some college students showed weak mental capacity and poor frustration tolerance. Therefore, the implementation of frustration education is becoming an important and practical project for college educators. 2 Necessity of Frustration Education in Colleges and Universities 2.1 Implementation of the frustration education is the need of social progress From the historical point of view, mankind has created splendid material civilization and spiritual civilization through continuing transformation and conquers nature, during which difficulties and setbacks are inevitable. For example, Sunbin wrote famous book "The Art of War” after receiving torture sentence; Sima Qian finished "Historical Records" even though suffering castration. In modern times, the world-famous inventor Thomas Edison never gave up after thousands of failure, and finally invented the electric light, bringing light to mankind; gunpowder king Nobel carried out scientific research and promote the scientific progress of mankind with the cost of blood and life. Today we are in the information age, rapid scientific development and social progress will bring us more and greater setbacks and difficulties. As a master of tomorrow's world, college students need stronger frustration tolerance and the spirit of advance despite difficulties on the basis of the succession of tremendous wealth created by their predecessors. 2.2 Implementation of the frustration education is the need of national development At present, China has entered a new period of building a moderately prosperous society. Correspondingly, great changes of the social relations in China have taken place, such as the increasingly fierce competition for survival, accelerating pace of life, more complex relationships, more 989 M & D FORUM frequently job switching, overload of the employment pressure, laid-off, unemployment and so on. Although the students are still in the college, those changes in society have slowly infiltrated into the campus. All students are required to have a strong psychological adaptation and the ability of anti-frustration. In addition, in today's era with increasingly fierce international competition, if our country wants to win the international competition in the future, the talents must possess not only profound knowledge, advanced moral character and physically robust body, but also strong will, ability, strong ability of self-improvement and resisting frustration and healthy psychology. So, in addition to scientific and cultural knowledge can be taught in college, to develop strong will and the ability of frustration tolerance becomes more significant for these college students. 2.3 Implementation of the frustration education is the need of achieving their development of college students In order to realize their value of life in fierce competition, college students must have ability to overcome difficulties and setbacks. However, the talents trained in traditional Chinese-style nurse-like family and school education model have not reach to the real society standards. So the implementation of frustration education in colleges and universities in a timely manner has the positive influence on the college students to successful complete their changes in social roles. 2.4 Implementation of the frustration education broadens the way of quality education in universities Quality education is to promote the overall development of students. Under the guidance of scientific talent view, universities should take the frustration education as an important part of quality education to help students face the frustration and promote overall development. 3 Main Setback Types of College Students It is necessary to clarify the main types of setbacks and find the formation reasons in order to strength the frustration education. Therefore, the author designed a questionnaire in November 2010, in Henan Polytechnic University. A sample survey was carried out in freshman, sophomore, junior and senior. There are 70 students in the four grades, including 62.5% boys and 37.5% girls. 50.6% of the students are only children, 64% of them are from rural areas. There are 262 valid questionnaires in the total 280 questionnaires. Large amounts of information about frustration tolerance of college students were learned from the questionnaires. Through questionnaire, the main source of frustration of college students was shown in Figure 1. 80 70 60 50 40 30 20 10 0 City Rural Total Interpersonal interaction Learning Love Employment Figure 1 Main source of frustration of college students It can be seen that the source of frustrations mainly including four areas: learning, interpersonal interaction, love and employment, among which learning setback is the primary type, interpersonal 990 M & D FORUM interaction, love and employment are also an important sources of frustration. From the survey results, students have clearly felt the presence of frustration. Meeting a variety of setbacks in their study and work is very common, which shows the reality of school life has given college students a virtually setback lesson. Although most students can face reality, look for both subjective and objective reasons, correctly evaluate and position themselves, there is still certain proportion of students choosing the negative option, which indicates that these students are not able to self-understand, lack abilities of solving problem, interpersonal interaction and adapting to the environment. Those students should be more concerned in college education. 3.1 Learning frustration College students come from across the country. Because they are outstanding person in high school, they have higher self-expectations and clear sense of superiority. But because of the imbalance level of national college education, too many talents in campus, some advantages will be not prominent. On the other hand, teaching method in university is different from the high schools, such as more courses and fewer class hours, flexible teaching methods and so on, which makes the students who may master science learning method in high schools can not adapt the college life. On the one hand, these student hope to maintain the best like in high school, on the other hand, they can not stabilize learning emotion, producing lost emotions and boredom and burnout in learning psychology. 3.2 Interpersonal frustration From the survey results, 49.5% of the students think that the frustration comes from the interpersonal interaction, among whom, 46.7% of students are from cit, 52.6% of students are from rural areas. Students try to understand the world and build the friendship through interpersonal interaction. However, growing experiences, living habits, value view and other aspects of college students are very different, so it is often difficult for the students to adapt to each other, which will inevitably leads to disharmony in the life. For example, college student Ma jiajue from the Yunnan University can not handle properly interpersonal relationship with classmates, personally killed four of his classmates only because of a little conflict when playing cards. 3.3 Love setbacks The problems produced for love frustration of the students have attracted great attentions of colleges and the whole community. In recent years, love setbacks of college students’ present new features: the number is significantly increasing; the age is becoming younger; love psychology is not mature; female is easier to meet love frustration than boys. A lot of students lost their learning interests, even lost morality and mind. 3.4 Career setbacks With the universal enrollment of colleges and universities in recent years, the employment situation is becoming increasingly difficult to make some college students produce depression, anxiety, frustration psychological experience, thinking “graduation is equal to unemployment”. Many students have employment bias, outdated employment concepts and the higher expectations of employment. Therefore, when meeting conflict between ideals and reality, they are easy to produce mental confusion and negative emotions. 4 Main Reasons of Frustration Formation of College Student 4.1 Individual's own factors. The higher the self-evaluation, the target is easier divorced from reality, the less chance we meet their own, and the greater possibility of meeting setbacks. If the students set their own learning goals very high regardless of their own actual level, a little oversight will make them blame themselves and make 991 M & D FORUM themselves always live in stress, anxiety and unrest state. And some students may produce some setbacks such as the target can not be achieved just due to their own physical qualities and some physical limitations caused by defects. 4.2 Parenting factors In college students, only children proportion is increasing. Parents only require them to learn well, create a superior living environment for them, making the children lack of frustration of training. After the children enter the college, they can not stand even if a little bit of stimulation hindering personal needs and desires, and are easy to produce psychological setbacks. 4.3 School factors From the current situation of the country's education, students are trained under the system of examination-oriented education. Students live in the long-closed campus; exhaust themselves for the completion of their studies and improvement of test scores, finally lost a lot of quality educational opportunities and social understanding and hard life experience. Lack of frustration education leads to the university students can not properly face the new environment and new role. Once they experience major changes in living environment and conflict, they will be overwhelmed and can not actively face or ask for help. As a result, they can only choose retreat or escape, leading to the final serious psychological problems, or even to unusual behavior. 4.4 Social environment factors At present, the rapid economic development creates a favorable social environment for college students’ development of physical and mental health, but also inevitably brings a negative impact. The social values view, a crisis of faith, integrity of the crisis has subtle influence on the college students. As they are in the formative years of personality and ideas, physiology and psychology are between mature and immature, the changes and impact of the society easily not only lead to inner strong turbulence of the college students, but also make them feel face many challenges and many suffer from psychological stress, and make them easy to produce frustrations. 5 Implementation Methods of Frustration Education 5.1 To help students adjust their expectations Educators should guide the college students to set goals for their own, should encourage students to build self-confidence, to face and find their own strength, and to clear their deficiencies. For example, when facing the employment setbacks, the students should be taught to calmly learn their lessons, analyze the employment situation faced and rationally adjust employment expectation to be consistent with the social reality. 5.2 To help students improve themselves and increase their strength Educators must consciously create opportunities for college students to exercise their ability, carefully arrange for appropriate social activities for them, and enhance students’ strength of competition in the future. 5.3 To help students master the scientific method of learning College educators should guide students to be good at correct attitude towards learning, guide them to carefully learn, reasonably allocate energy and efficiently improve the learning effect. Meanwhile, educators should actively improve the education system and strengthen the building of teaching staff. 5.4 To help students establish the correct employment view Colleges and universities must increase efforts in this area, develop employment guidance education by 992 M & D FORUM stages and levels. Through the special combination of employment guidance courses and individual interviews, employment status of college students may be understand, and the negative emotions produced in employment process can be dredged in time. 5.5 To exert important influence of classroom teaching on the love frustration education Educator in college should be good at engaging in research and in-depth investigation to achieve the definite purpose. Meanwhile, they should make friends with the students truly, understand the inner world of the students, guide and relieve students’ stress for love frustration. 5.6 To play the role of "psychological counseling" agencies in college On the one hand, the staffs of psychological counseling agency in colleges and universities can be composed of not only counseling professionals, but also assistants and teachers in charge of class, enabling students to receive timely frustrated psychological guidance. On the other hand, the establishment of the agencies should be diversified, for example, the agency can be set up independently by different sex to facilitate consultation for the college students. 6 Conclusion 6.1 Through questionnaire, the main source of frustration of college students including learning, interpersonal interaction, love and employment. 6.2 Through analysis of the formation reasons of psychological setback, implementation methods of frustration education in colleges and universities were pointed out. It can be concluded that implementation of frustration education becomes more significant for these college students to improve frustration tolerance and develop their good psychological quality.
