The new corporate environment can be a daunting territory with diverse work cultures, high standards for professional conduct and rigorous demands of skills and competence. This course will help you develop your employability quotient and give you the winning edge; be it in creating a professional resume, acing the interview process or in your actual on-the-job performance. It will prepare you to stand out in the crowd in your current and future careers, both in SMEs and in large firms. Who should attend? The programme is ideal for school leavers, university students, fresh graduates and young working professionals. Amanda Abraham Amanda is a great example of a PwC professional. She started as an ACCA student with PwC’s Academy and qualified as an ACCA member in February 2015. She interned at PwC, honed her employability skills and progressed to become a full time ACCA lecturer, a member of the ACGP and a certified Oxford Brooke's mentor. She is the Employability Training Course Manager and is responsible for supporting employability teaching, learning and designing innovative employability learning materials. She carries out planned reviews of students' career progression and helps them overcome any employability barriers that they may face. She is dedicated to helping students find promising internships and job opportunities. Christopher Cain Chris commenced his teaching experience in 1980 and worked for a number of Institutions including the Accounting Department of Birmingham City University. His experience and learnings span across many years, countries and syllabus changes. He has set and marked professional examinations, has been a content writer and examiner for ACCA and CIMA and also wrote the syllabus for ACCA on Business Planning and Strategy. Chris has designed and delivered high quality exam and memory techniques programmes which have had a significant impact on students results.
