PwC Tax Insight # 03/2012 TAX & LEGAL UPDATE TAX & LEGAL Services Heading : The following report may be of interest to : Summary : Change in Thai Social Security Contribution R Rates All employers and employees in Thailand By virtue of the Ministerial Regulation dated 6 January 2012, the contribution rates to the Social Security Fund will be reduced from 5% to 3% and 4% 4%. Details of the rates applicable for 2 different periods from January to June 2012 and July to December 2012 2 are summarized below. These new rates will be applied to earnings up to a maximum level of Baht 15,000 per month.
