MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
In some instances, Kaskaskia College
Radiology Students make a distinct
positive difference in the lives of a
patient, fellow students, or
radiographer in the clinical setting.
Students have specific job descriptions
and understand what is expected of
them in their job performance but in
certain circumstances, some
Kaskaskia College Radiology Students
have gone far beyond the structures of
their job description to help others.
If you catch someone in the act of
going over and above what is expected
at their clinical setting, let us know!
This is your opportunity to “expose” a
student for their good deeds and
benevolent gestures. Please think
about any student who has gone that
extra mile and consider nominating
him or her for exemplary
performance of duties beyond the
confines of the job description. We
will acknowledge those individuals
who are nominated.
The class of 2012 had two students
who received this award. They were
Mike Antonich and Rae Lynn Harris.
Mike was nominated by a
radiographer at one of his clinical
sites for assisting with computer
programs and Rae Lynn was
nominated by a supervisor due to her
display of excellent patient care.
The class of 2013 had two students,
Katie Ryan and Abigail Detwiler were
also honored with this “Making a
Difference” Award.
Congratulations!
