APPROVAL OF MAY 21, 2015, MEETING MINUTES Approval of the Minutes for the May 21, 2015 Meeting was tabled and will be considered at the next Meeting. III. DISCUSSION ON CONVERSION TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE PROPOSAL Mr. Coby Skye informed the Subcommittee that planning for the proposed Conversion Technology Conference remains in development. The conference is expected to take place in late 2015. IV. PRESENTATION BY MARK MCDANNEL ON THE RESULTS TO DATE OF THE COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICTS FOOD WASTE PROGRAM Mr. Mark McDannel, Supervising Engineer for the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (CSD), provided a PowerPoint presentation of CSD’s Food Waste Program at the Joint Water Pollution Control Plant in Carson. CSD has entered into a two-year demonstration program agreement with Waste Management, Inc. (Waste Management) to deliver up to 84 tons per day of pre-processed food waste slurry collected primarily from restaurants, food processing plants, and grocery stores. V.
