Capacity building program: 2012-2015 Capacity building training of government officials ▲Intensive capacity building on PPP started from 2012 ▲Total 450 government officials were trained on ppp by 36 events ▲46 government officials were trained abroad on various PPP issues Policy level consultations ◙ Implementation of PPP needs high level policy decisions ◙ To get easy approval of PPP, 15 policy consultation events held ◙ Attended 300 high officials of Planning Commission & ministries PPP awareness building seminar/workshop ►To create awareness 31 workshop/seminars held ► About 3400 local & international investors & other stakeholders participated those events ► As a result, PPP is a well-known phenomenon in Bangladesh today International investment Forum • To attract international investment, Global investment Forum held on 7-8 December 2012 • International investment Forum-17 Sept 2014 • Both the events were inaugurated by Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina • Investors from 20 countries attended Future Capacity building plan(2015-16) 1. PPP outside training :for project related officers, focal points and ACAD course officers- 3 events 4. Workshop/Seminars: for officials, investors, Corporate people, Policy makers:6 events 5.
