is valuable and helps us provide information to those medical students who are
following you that may have some of the same questions that you did.
- We ask that you complete this over the next few days, and have it
completed by Sunday, March 10th.
- To access the survey, please go to COMET, using the following link and use

Volunteers needed for Japanese exchange students
Every year, Dr. Kida (pathologist) hosts a Japanese exchange program in
conjunction with medical schools in Japan. In exchange, the fortunate
pathology student fellows (Lauren Gilligan Powlovich & Sara Higgins this year)
get to take a trip to Japan.
This year, the Japanese students will be coming to Fletcher Allen from March
14-21 to learn about healthcare in the US. Unfortunately, Sara and I will not be
on a clinical rotation during this time but we will be showing them around
Burlington in their free time. We are looking for medical student volunteers
who are willing to allow one or two Japanese medical students to shadow them
for a morning. Particularly those of you who are at Fletcher Allen doing a
clinical rotation. They will just be shadowing. Here are the dates we need
volunteers:
March 14: 3 volunteers needed
March 15: 2 volunteers needed
March 18 and 19: 1-2 volunteers needed
Please email Lauren if you can help out with this!
