Overview: 4-H Youth Favorite Places is a website that allows youth to practice using latitude and longitude
to describe one of their favorite places. Youth make permanent additions to the 4-H YFP website that remain available for peers to explore.

Important Note: In order for youth to make additions to the website, the 4-H Educator or Leader will need
to have a valid login. In order to gain full access to the site, program leaders must first register and then be
approved by site administration. This may take a few days.
Additional Resources
Youth have a few different options for obtaining the latitude and longitude of their selected spot:
1. Go out and physically obtain the coordinates using a GPS unit
2. Estimate the coordinates using a detailed map
3. Use a website or computer program:
